about
Wonderful night is about meeting my wife, and about finding a way to love somebody without having to assign 'better, best and worse' about who did what. It was a wonderful night when I first had the impulse NOT to disagree, in terms of those poisons. To have that ‘let it go’ impulse at least sometimes was huge in giving me a chance to live a better life. That was a wonder all on its own. Give me another hundred lives and I might be able to make it happen 24/7.

WONDERFUL NIGHT LYRICS
What have I done wrong
What have I done well
What have I done lately
I don’t wanna break your spell
What have I done clean
What have I done right
What have I done that’s not for me
What a wonderful night
It didn’t take us long to get there
You were surprised how much you could still care
Your place was smaller, mine was nowhere
We were livin’ on a prayer
The sun was shinin’ in the west
We left no questions unadressed
And made it very clear to all the rest
You got a problem, be my guest
Chorus
We met at someone else’s birthday
We were supposed to go our own ways
I think it might have been a Thursday
I didn’t have a word to say
You were out runnin’ from a bad time
You were so careful of your own designs
But I could see that you were oh so fine
Thought I’d even stand in line
Chorus
We’ve been together for a year
There will be things ahead to fear
But if we keep each other really near
Imagine what might disappear
It didn’t look like much at first
But now there is no longer burning thirst
We gave up better, best and worse
Broke the chain that broke the curse
